Rajkummar Rao reacts to Patralekhaa applying sindoor to him at their wedding; calls it ‘unplanned’ – Times of India

Actor Rajkummar Rao, who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, ‘HIT: The First Case’, has spoken about his dreamy wedding Patralekhaa. The love birds got married in November last year in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh.

Their wedding video caught everyone’s attention for all the right reasons. After Rajkummar Rao applied the sindoor on his wife’s forehead, she did the exact same thing. This gesture of the couple left everyone mighty impressed.

Recently, while speaking to News18, Rajkummar talked about the same. On being asked if he faced any social media trolling after the video was shared, he said that he does not read comments. He also said that a lot of people picked it up and a lot of articles were being written. He called Patralekhaa’s gesture ‘impulsive’. He further added that he believes in equality and will never see somebody below him. Raj concluded by saying that it was not planned but he’s glad that it happened.

Meanwhile, ‘HIT: The First Case’ also stars Sanya Malhotra. It is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu hit of the same name and is directed by Sailesh Kolanu, who had also helmed the original film. Apart from this, Rajkummar also has ‘Bheed’ with Bhumi Pednekar and ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Janhvi Kapoor.
