Raksha Bandhan 2023: Zoya Akhtar shares throwback pic with sibling Farhan, calls him her ‘forever person’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Today, many celebrities took to their social media handles to share priceless memories with their sibling. The latest to join the list is filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who marked the occasion to wish her brother Farhan a Happy Raksha Bandhan.

Sharing a throwback pic, where Zoya is seen in a pensive mood, as Farhan sits besides her, the filmmaker wrote, “An interview for our first film together, this image sums up our life together.

Me fried and you stepping in to handle it. Love you the most. Happy Raksha Bandhan my forever person @faroutakhtar.”

The doting brother got emotional seeing this, and wrote back, “”Er tum itne door ho .. love you Zo.”
Farhan has recently been in the news as his movie Rock On!!, that marked his acting debut, completed 15 years. The film, which was directed by Abhishek Kapoor, starred Farhan as the lead singer of the fictional band Magik along with Arjun Rampal on lead guitar, Purab Kohli on drums thrashing the cymbals and Luke Kenny on keyboard.
On the occasion, Farhan took a trip down memory lane as he shared a post on his social media to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the film. Taking to social media, he wrote “15 years since Magik was created. Thank you to the fans who’ve kept it alive. Rock On!!”
‘Rock On!!’, which was released in 2008, has become a cultural phenomenon, leaving an indelible mark on Bollywood and the hearts of millions of fans worldwide. The film was particularly praised for its music which topped the charts and made the larger audience friendly with the genre of soft rock.
The film follows the journey of a band that falls apart and 10 years down the line comes together as they get mature with regards to life and relationships.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for ‘Don 3’ and ‘Jee Le Zara‘.
