Redmi G gaming laptop to launch on August 14 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is gearing up for the launch of its new gaming laptop. The company has confirmed that it will launch its latest Redmi G gaming laptop in China on August 14.
This is the second laptop of the company to launch this year as Redmi has already launched the RedmiBook 16 powered by Ryzen 4000 series processors in May. The all-new Redmi G gaming laptop is said to be powered by Intel Core i5-10200H or it could be an i5-10300H processor. The company claims that the laptop will offer best in class performance and will come with proper heat dissipation.
The company also shared a teaser image of the upcoming laptop which confirms that the gaming laptop will come in Black colour. The image also confirms that the device will feature a 15-inch display surrounded by minimal bezels on all three sides. The webcam is placed below the display along with the Redmi branding. The right side of the laptop houses a USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, and huge heat sink. The image shared also shows a full-size keyboard and a large trackpad for better user experience.
Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone as the company’s 10th-anniversary celebration in China. The smartphone comes at a starting price tag of 1999 yuan (Rs 21,470). It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor paired with Mali-G77 GPU. The device features a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and runs Android 10 operating system. Redmi K30 Ultra sports a quad-camera setup and is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
