Riteish Deshmukh pens an endearing birthday note for ‘baiko’ Genelia D’Souza; says ‘You are looking younger by the day, can’t say the same about me’ – Times of India

Actress Genelia D’Souza is celebrating her birthday today. Her fans, friends and family members have flooded social media with warm wishes. Her husband and actor Riteish Deshmukh has also posted self-made beautiful digital art to wish on her special day.

Along with the portraits, Riteish has written love quotes by different writers. Sharing the first picture on his Instagram handle, Riteish used George Sand’s quote, “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved. #happybirthdaygenelia @geneliad”

He used the second picture with Rumi’s quote. “Love is the whole thing. We are only pieces. #happybirthdaygenelia @geneliad,” his caption read.

Using Lao Tzu’s quote for his third picture, Riteish wrote, “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. #happybirthdaygenelia @geneliad”

Soon after he posted these gorgeous artwork pictures of Genelia, fans and his friends dropped sweet comments. Abhishek Bachchan commented, “Happy birthday Vaahini.” While Suniel Shetty wrote, “Happy birthday G
️” Their fans were seen dropping heart emojis.

Riteish also posted a cute collage video with his wife and penned a long note. The video has the song ‘Tumse Milke’ playing in the background. He wrote, “Gods must love me. There is no greater feeling than waking up every morning and seeing your face. Inching towards 20 years of being together and feels like it was yesterday.. thank you for being the wonderful partner that you are- happy birthday baiko!!! Abhishek dropped a sweet comment that read, “Favs”.

Meanwhile, Riteish is all set to star in the horror-comedy ‘Kakuda’. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem. Speaking about it, he earlier said in a statement, “I can’t wait to jump right in and work on the film with Sonakshi and Saqib. I personally love the horror-comedy genre and ‘Kakuda‘ is a great opportunity for me to explore the part of a ghostbuster.”

‘Kakuda’ will be released digitally in 2022.
