Samsung Galaxy A53 5G receives a price drop: New price, specs and more – Times of India

Samsung has slashed the price of another mi-range 5G smartphone. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has received a price cut of Rs 3,000. Launched in March this year, the smartphone comes in two variants and both of them have got a price cut. So, if you are also planning to purchase a 5G-enabled smartphone, then this may be the right time to buy one.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 5G in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 34,999 and 35,999 respectively. After the price drop the customers can purchase the 6GB version at Rs 31,999 and 8GB variant at Rs 32,999. The smartphone can be purchased in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Peach and Awesome White colour options.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and it is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The mid-range Samsung smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Samsung One UI 4.1. The smartphone sports a quad rear camera with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, LED flash. Front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The smartphone comes with IP67 rating which makes it water-resistant.
The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.
