Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G may launch in India on August 28 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung recently launched its Galaxy Note 20 Series at its first virtual Galaxy Unpacked event 2020. The Galaxy Note 20 series include the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G smartphones. Now, it seems that both these smartphones are all set to enter the Indian market.
The e-commerce giant Amazon has tipped the launch date of both the devices. As per the listing on Amazon, the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will launch in India on August 28.
The Galaxy 20’s 4G variant with 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 77,999, whereas the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 1,04,999 (256GB). Samsung has also started taking pre-orders for both smartphones. The customers who will pre-book the Galaxy Note 20 will get a cashback of Rs 6,000. On the other hand, the buyers who will pre-book the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G will get a cashback of Rs 9,000. Moreover, the present Samsung Galaxy users are also eligible for an upgrade and they will get an additional discount of Rs 5,000 in exchange for their old smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone does not offer support for microSD card.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup which consists of 12MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens, 64MP secondary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, and a 12MP tertiary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. There is a 10MPP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is backed by a 4300mAh battery with fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 990 processor and it runs Android 10 operating system. The smartphone features a 6.9-inch WQHD display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution
The device packs 8GB/12GB of RAM and comes in two storage options 256GB and 512GB. For imaging duties, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises of 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, 12MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP tertiary sensor with an f/3.0 lens. The smartphone houses a 4500mAh battery with fast and wireless charging support.
