Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE surfaces on Geekbench listing, reveals, processor, model number and other key details – Times of India

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Fan Edition of its current flagship tablet series – Galaxy Tab S8. It was rumoured to arrive at the same time the Galaxy Tab S7 FE was announced. However, that didn’t happen. Now, Galaxy Club has reported that new details about the Tab S8 FE have surfaced on the Geekbench listing which reveals the key specifications of the unannounced tablet.
Geekbench listing carries the model number SM-X506B which is allegedly the Galaxy Tab S8 FE, as per the reports. The upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 FE, according to the listing, is powered by MediaTek MT8781V/TZA chipset, also known as 900T.
As far as the benchmark scores are concerned, the tablet has scored 773 points in single-core and 2813 points in the multi-core test.
The tablet runs the Android 13 operating system along with the company’s One UI custom user interface. Apart from that, the tablet has 4GB RAM. The listing does not talk about other RAM variants of the tablet. But, it is possible that Samsung will offer the tab in more than one variant.
Galaxy Club has reported that the model that has surfaced on the Geekbench is the 5G variant of the tablet and there will be another variant with Wi-Fi only with the SM-X500 model number.
While, the tablet surfacing on Geekbench confirms that soon or later, Samsung is working on the Fan Edition of Galaxy Tab S8. However, it is not clear when it will arrive.
