Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 spotted on benchmarking website revealing key specs – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung is expected to launch its next generation foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 in August. The company is expected to launch the smartphones on August 3 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event.
A recent online report suggested that both the smartphones will go on sale starting August 27.
Now, the upcoming foldable smartphone appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The Geekbench listing also revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 passed through Geekbench in the US. The certification listing reveals that the smartphone will come with model number SM-F926U.
As per the listing, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 12GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will come with S-Pen and 5G support. The handset is also said to feature an NFC chip.
The upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4275mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. The smartphone is also said to feature two Super AMOLED displays which will include 6.23-inch cover display and 7.55-inch internal display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also said to sport five cameras which will consist of a triple rear camera consisting of three 12MP shooters and a 16MP under-display selfie camera. The smartphone is also said to come with a 10MP shooter placed on the cover display of Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Recently, popular tipster Mukul Sharma of Stufflistings revealed that the yet-to-launch Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has received BIS certification. This means that Samsung will launch the smartphone in India soon. Presently, it is not clear as to when the company will launch the smartphone.
