Known for his extraordinary philanthropic work since the nationwide lockdown last year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, actor Sonu Sood has been working day and night to help those in need amid the massive second wave of the deadly COVID-19 also. Now, taking to his social media handles, Sonu Sood made an emotional appeal to the government. In an almost 2 minute long video, the actor requested the government for Free Education of children who have lost their family in second wave of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. The actor shared the video with the caption, ‘Need to come together for every individual who’s lost a loved one in this pandemic.’ Earlier, the actor while stating that saving lives during the second wave of COVID-19 is more satisfying than being part of a blockbuster movie, had dropped a tweet that read, ‘In the middle of the night, after making numerous calls if u r able to get beds for needy, oxygen for some people n save few lives, I swear..it’s million times more satisfying than being a part of any 100cr film. We can’t sleep when people are in front of hospitals waiting for a bed.’ Meanwhile, the actor has himself recovered from the COVID-19 just a few days back only. Despite battling the virus, the actor was leaving no stone unturned to help those who have been directly or indirectly hit by COVID-19.
