NEW DELHI: After the end of the two-day long Indian Premier League mega auction, Kane Williamson led Surisers Hyderabad were left with just Rs 10 lakh, spending almost their entire purse. They have built up a squad of 23 players, including eight overseas cricketers.
Wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran was SRH biggest buy of the auction as they splurged Rs 10.75 crore for the West Indian. SRH also spent big bucks for India all-rounder Washington Sundar and batter Rahul Tripathi, spending Rs 8.75 crore and Rs 8.5 crore respectively for the duo. They also bought another West Indian Romario Shepherd for Rs 7.75 crore.
