Suhana Khan turns ‘cat lady’ with her latest selfie – Times of India

Suhana Khan has expressed her love for cats with her latest post, wherein she is snapped posing with her pet. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana, who enjoys massive fan following on social media, posted a selfie on Sunday evening with a black cat chilling in her lap. For the casual click, Suhana sported a beige top, pants and a striking blue cap. While she announced herself as the newest ‘cat lady’ in town, Suhana got some love from another cat mom, Alia Bhatt, who liked the post. Suhana’s cousin Alia Chhiba also praised her and commented, “You’re the only cool cat lady”.

Recently Suhana celebrated her 21st birthday in the US and pictures from her private bash had gone viral on the internet. Interestingly, when Gauri Khan shared Suhana’s picture on Twitter to wish her on her birthday, the star kid received a funny marriage proposal. One user had commented, “Gauri mam meri shadi Suhana ke saath karwado Meri monthly payment 1lakh+ hai.”

Eager to follow her father’s footsteps into films, Suhana is currently studying at the New York University. She graduated from Ardingly College in England in 2019 and moved to NYC to pursue film education. Suhana has already faced the camera for a short film and has also appeared in a few plays. Suhana Khna has starred in an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and has featured in a short film titled ‘The Grey Part of Blue’.

Last year Suhana Khan had made her profile on Instagram public. In September she had shared a powerful post against colourism and also posted several hate messages that she has received on social media. “I’ve been told I’m ugly because of my skin tone, by full grown men and women, since I was 12 years old. Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what’s sad is that we are all indian, which automatically makes us brown – yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can’t. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure. I’m sorry if social media, Indian matchmaking or even your own families have convinced you, that if you’re not 5″7 and fair you’re not beautiful. I hope it helps to know that I’m 5″3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too. #endcolourism,” Suhana had shared.
