Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI starts registration process, say they are in touch with Bihar Police – Times of India

After much ado, the centre finally accepted the Bihar Government’s plea of transferring Sushant Singh Rajput’s case to the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI). After getting the notification from the centre, the CBI has started the process of registration of the case.

According to a report in Times Now, this is the first time that CBI has officially released a statement as far as Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is concerned. According to the directives of the Supreme Court, all the cases that are filed by the CBI have to be uploaded on the CBI’s official website which will be done very soon.

The report also added that the Bihar cops have returned to the state from Mumbai and the CBI has been in touch with them for the case. The first step in the case will be the accumulation of all the case files, diaries as well as statements that Bihar police has recorded. The CBI officials have also stated that they have a mandate to carry out a pan India probe, owing to which they will also be coming to Mumbai.

The FIR filed by the Bihar Police by Sushant’s father KK Singh will officially be taken over by the CBI. The report stated that it will be a matter of hours before the FIR will be formally uploaded on their website.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
