Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty en route ED office to be questioned again – Times of India

The Enforcement Directorate is making sure to conduct a thorough investigation into the financial aspects of the Sushant Singh Rajput case. After a whole week of questioning all the accused and other associates, the central financial agency has called in Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and Indrajit Chakraborty for another round of questioning, it has been reported.

The latest update on Times Now states that actress, her father and brother are currently en route to the ED’s office in Mumbai for another round of questioning. This will be Rhea and her dad’s second interrogation.

Rhea’s brother Showik made headlines over the weekend when it was reported that the ED grilled him for about 18 hours in connection with the death of the late actor. Showik reportedly reached the ED’s south Mumbai office at around noon on Saturday and his questioning reportedly continued till around 6:30 am on Sunday.

The Chakraborty family is named in the First Information Report (FIR) registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Besides the family, Shruti Modi, former business manager of Rajput and flatmate Siddharth Pitani.

According to reports, the Chakraborty family and even Pitani will be questioned on various financial aspects as it is alleged that they were the people managing Sushant’s finances. The joint-venture companies that Sushant started with Rhea and Showik is also said to be one of the major points of the questioning.

The report further goes on to state that the drastic increase in spending patterns of the family after Sushant came into their life.

The officials have reportedly got hold of electronic evidence in connection with the case and they are also searching for phone records of conversations between Rhea and her father and brother.
