Sushant Singh Rajput’s death: CBI team investigating the late actor’s case arrives in Mumbai; view pictures – Times of India

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and fans took to social media to hail the Supreme Court’s verdict as it directed the CBI to probe into the late actor’s mysterious demise. Meanwhile, the CBI team was snapped at the Mumbai airport as they arrive to initiate their probe.

According to an IANS report, the CBI team will be led by CBI’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad. The team can be seen wearing face masks and shields as they were surrounded by the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport on Thursday evening. Check out their pictures from the airport here:

Meanwhile, a Times Now’s report suggests that the team will collect all the evidences tonight and go through the electronic gadgets as well. Post which they will be recreating the crime scene at Sushant’s residence tomorrow.

Several Bollywood celebs, fans and Sushant family had been demanding for a CBI probe in the late actor’s suicide case. The team is also reported to meet Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh to gather more details. They are also reported to connect with Mumbai Police DCP and the investigating officer, who was handling Sushant’s case.

The CBI has already registered a case against Rhea Chakraborty and her family along with Shruti Modi, Samuel Miranda and others based on Sushant’s father K.K. Singh’s FIR.
