Taapsee Pannu to Shekhar Suman – Bollywood divided over Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau – Times of India

Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today has evoked several different reactions from Bollywood. While Sushant Singh Rajput’s former partner Ankita Lokhande has lauded the move with a cryptic post about Karma , Shekhar Suman marked it as a ‘big victory’.

On the other hand, there are a few celebrities who expressed displeasure upon Rhea’s arrest for the alleged link to drug suppliers. Taapsee Pannu came down strongly against Rhea Chakraborty’s custody by NCB, while Kubra Sait also expressed support to the actress and her family.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti had also posted a positive note post Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest. She had shared on social media, “#GodIsWithUs”.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Manshinde had slammed the arrest and shared in a statement, “Travesty of Justice. 3 Central Agencies hounding a single Woman, just because she was in love with a Drug Addict and was suffering from Mental Health issues for several years under the care of 5 Leading Psychiatrists in Mumbai, who ended up committing suicide due to consumption of Illegally Administered Medicines and used drugs.”
