TCL gives ‘Covid safe’ update to its Elite Series air conditioners – Times of India

TCL has announced upgrades for its Elite Series Air Conditioners in India. The company has launched 3-in-1 filtration technology for its ACs. The 1 Tr is avail for Rs 26,990 and 1.5 Tr is Rs 31,990.
The devices that previously came with silver ion and dust filters is now equipped with a Vitamin C filter, which the company claims eliminates dust and bacteria from the air. The ACs come with TCL’s patented Titan Gold evaporator and condenser that that is said to prevent the accumulation of dust, dirt on the surface and therefore increases the life span of the equipment.
TCL claims that these devices come packed with air-cooled electric control box technology due to which buyers can get continuous cooling in a high ambient temperature environment.
As per the company, the ACs come with has a high-frequency compressor that can drop the temperature from 27 to 18 degrees Celsius within 30 seconds. Further, it is said to offer AI Ultra-inverter compressor technology that is claimed to save up to 50% of energy consumption.
