‘Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop’: Prithvi Shaw’s cryptic post leaves fans baffled | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Considered to be the next big thing in Indian cricket, Prithvi Shaw has seen many ups and down since he made his international debut. He recently was a part of controversy when he had an altercation at a nightclub with social media influencer Sapna Gill.
The fiery opener, who played for India in a T20I against Sri Lanka in 2021, on Thursday seemed to have shared his bitter experience with the people by writing a cryptic story on his Instagram account that left the fans baffled.
“Some people will only love you, as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop,” Shaw wrote in his Instagram story.

Shaw has been part of controversies in the past when he was handed an eight-month suspension due to doping in 2019. He also reportedly failed the yo-yo test last year at NCA.
He also made the headlines during IPL 2020 for all the wrong reasons after Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting revealed that Shaw refused to bat in the nets.
Shaw was selected in the T20I squad for the home series against New Zealand in January but failed to make the final playing XI in any of the games.
The right-hander will next be seen in action for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2023, starting on March 31.
