This video was taken when she received the Bharat Ratna award. Bharat Ratna is the highest civilian award of the Republic of India. A few days back, she was removed from the ventilator, as there had been an improvement in her health, though she was kept under medical observation in ICU. The singer was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after her diagnosis with Covid-19 and pneumonia.
Lata Mangeshkar passed away at 8:12 am on Sunday, sister Usha Mangeshkar and the doctors treating her confirmed.
