On Friday, Twinkle shared a video of Dimple Kapadia and little Nitara in which the yesteryear actress can be seen chatting and having a walk in the garden with granddaughter Nitara. She also penned an emotional note on the eternal bond between grandmothers and granddaughters.
Daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, former actress Twinkle Khanna got married to Akshay Kumar in 2001 and their daughter Nitara has a sweet bond with her grandmother Dimple Kapadia. Recently Twinkle gave a sneak peek into Dimple and Nitara’s adorable relationship in a video shot in their garden. What also grabbed our attention is the caption Twinkle gave, “The two most important women in my life are walking together with an ease that I envy With grandmothers and granddaughters, the generational gap is wide enough so that both can stretch out their arms without smacking the other in the face Nanis are simply the best though, aren’t they (sic)?”
On the work front, Twinkle’s last film outing was way back in 2001 in the film ‘Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’. And now, she’s an acclaimed author with her books ‘Mrs Funnybones’ and ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’ turning out to be bestsellers.
