The announcement comes in the wake of lockdowns/curfews imposed by states as the country is facing the second wave of coronavirus.
Extended dates of service will vary for each state. This will depend on the current lockdown status of the individual state. “If the expiry date of product warranty period, replacement period or other offers fall under lockdown period of your state, you will get a 30 day extension calculated from the day when a service centre resumes business”, Vivo India wrote in a tweet.

Recently, the company launched its latest V series phone in India- Vivo V21. The smartphone is a 5G phone which comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. It is equipped with a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2404 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
The handset offers up to 12GB RAM and has an internal storage capacity of up to 256GB. The device runs on FunTouch OS 11. For camera duties, the phone has a 64MP f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.
For selfies, the smartphone has a 44MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, OIS, dual-LED ash and 4k video recording. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 33-watt fast-charging feature.
