November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day in India, every year to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The day is commemorated as a tribute to his contribution towards the development of the nation and his fondness for children and students. And this year marked the 131st birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru. Superstar Mammootty too commemorated the day, by spending some time with kids. The actor is currently filming for ‘Kaathal – The Core’, and the makers of the film have now shared pictures of how Mammootty celebrated Children’s Day. In the pictures, Mammootty can be seen interacting with kids. “Spending quality time with the Biggest Source of Energy Happy Children’s Day to all out there,” the makers tweeted, sharing the pictures. On the special occasion, Mammootty too took to his social media handle, and said, “May the force be with the future of this country. Wishing a Happy Children’s day to all the bright minds out there. #ChildrensDay.” The superstar also posted a selfie he took with kids.
