The news of their separation came in as a shock to their fans and friends. According to reports, Rajinikanth wants Dhanush and Aishwaryaa to reconcile. However, there has been no official statement from the megastar yet.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dhanush was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ which also starred Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film was released on an OTT platform and had received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
