A two-day meeting of the Council of the Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, began in Pakistan’s Islamabad on March 22. The meet aims to discuss challenges faced by the Muslim world. But though India is home to the world’s third largest Muslim population, India is not an OIC member. On a list of the top ten countries where most of the world’s Muslims live, India ranks third – just after Indonesia and Pakistan. This video explains why India is not a member of OIC despite its globally third-largest Muslim population.
