Xiaomi 12 bags 3C certification, may come with 67 watt charging – Times of India

Xiaomi has already revealed that the Xiaomi 12 phone will come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled some time next year. Now, the handset has received 3C certification. It shows that Xiaomi 12 may come with 67 watt charging. It also reveals that the device will offer 5G network capabilities.
Readers must note that the Xiaomi 12 series is said to comprise the vanilla Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 X and Xiaomi 12 Pro. The model mentioned above is the vanilla Xiaomi 12. Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, is rumoured to come with 120 watt fast charging.
The upcoming smartphone series is said to run on MIUI 13 out-of-the-box. Xiaomi 12X is rumoured to be the most-affordable variant of the series. Unlike the other two models, Xiaomi 12X is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X are rumoured to come with AMOLED panels with curved edge design. The smartphones’ display may have a refresh rate of 120Hz and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi 12X is said to have a screen size of 6.28 inches, while the Xiaomi 12 may have a 6.67-inch display.
As per a previous report, the handset may come with a triple rear camera setup. It may consist of a 50MP primary camera customised from Samsung or Sony along with an ultra-wide-angle paired with a periscopic and a telephoto lens. The upcoming smartphones are rumoured to come with an under-display camera for selfies and video calls.
