Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro with Snapdragon 875 expected to launch in January 2021 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphones — Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in February this year. Now rumours suggest that the company might launch its next-generation flagship smartphones Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro in January next year. A Chinese tipster has confirmed that Xiaomi might unveil its next-generation Mi 11 smartphones in January 2021.
These will be the first smartphones to come with the yet-to launch Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. Chipset major Qualcomm is all set to launch its next-generation flagship Snapdragon 875 processor tomorrow (December 2). Qualcomm also confirmed that Xiaomi’s co-founder will be present at the Snapdragon Tech Summit which hints that the Mi 11 series might be powered by a Snapdragon 875 processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is also expected to come with a triple rear camera setup. The rear camera is expected to consist of a 108MP main sensor with 30X zoom. The camera will also consist of an ultra-wide angle lens and a macro lens. The smartphone is said to feature a punch-hole display with curved edges. The display is expected to come with quad HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, the Mi 11 Pro may offer a punch-hole camera that will be placed on the top left corner. The display is expected to be of the QHD+ resolution and offer 120Hz refresh rate. For imaging duties, the handset is said to house a quad camera setup on the back. The report also added that the rear camera will be able to capture images at 50MP with the help of pixel binning technology.
