Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power gets a new storage variant – Times of India

Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its budget handset, Redmi 9 Power, in India. The new variant of the Redmi 9 Power packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Originally, when the handset was launched in December 2020, the company made available two storage variants of the handset offering 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
Redmi 9 Power price and availability
The new variant of the Redmi 9 Power is priced at Rs 12,999. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This new variant of the Redmi 9 Power will go on sale starting today, February 22, at 12 pm online through Xiaomi’s official website as well as Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios.
Redmi 9 Power specifications
The Realme C12 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12.
The Redmi 9 Power is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU. It houses a microSD card support of 512GB.
Talking about the camera capabilities, the Redmi 9 Power sports a quad rear camera. The rear camera consists of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide angle sensor, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front you will find an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 6000mAh battery, which offers a 18W fast charge support.
Colour options of the handset include Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red and Electric Green.
