NEW DELHI: Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone in India. Now, it appears that the company is planning to soon launch the Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones. According to an online report, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the new smartphone series in the first quarter next year.
According to an online report by Gizchina, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 12 series in the first quarter of 2022.The company is expected to launch four to five smartphones in the series. The upcoming smartphone series is said to run Android 12 operating system.
The handsets are expected to be powered by a Qualcomm processor. Like the Redmi Note 11 series, the Redmi Note 12 series is also said to come with 33W fast charging support.
Recently, Redmi launched the Note 11T 5G smartphone in India. The 5G-enabled smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 16,999. The Redmi Note 11 5G smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display.
Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. When it comes to camera, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the back with 50MP primary lens and an 8MP ultrawide secondary lens. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 16MP camera at the front.
The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
