Zoom announces multiple features for the video calling platform: Full list of all the new features – Times of India

Zoom has announced new tools and features for the video calling platform at the company’s annual event — Zoomtopia 2022. The company claims that these new features will “power modern work experiences and celebrate the future of communication and collaboration.” Zoom’s CEO Eric S. Yuan has said that the company “built and launched more than 1,500 features and enhancements on the Zoom platform this year.”
Warner Bros. is among the multiple companies that have also mentioned how Zoom’s products like Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Team Chat have helped with a seamless remote working experience. Here we have listed all the latest offerings that the company announced at the Zoomtopia event.
Zoom Mail and Calendar (beta)
Zoom has announced new mail and calendar services to compete with Google and Microsoft. The new Zoom Mail and Calendar clients will save users from leaving the video calling platform every time they need to access their email and calendar. Zoom will also allow users to integrate popular email and calendar services. This will help users quickly access important dates and documents straight from the video-calling platform.
Moreover, for businesses that don’t have dedicated IT services but are focused on privacy and security, the company has also announced the Zoom-hosted email and calendar service options. This service will also be directly integrated with the video-calling platform. The company also ensures that Zoom’s Mail Service is end-to-end encrypted for emails sent directly between users who also use the same service. Both Zoom Mail and Calendar clients and services will initially launch in beta and are expected to be improved with more features in the upcoming days.

Zoom Spots
Zoom Spots is a virtual co-working space that is developed by the company. This is a video-enabled persistent space which will be integrated into the Zoom platform and is said to arrive in early 2023. This service will help users to host inclusive discussions, keep colleagues connected and improve interactions amongst distributed, hybrid teams.
Zoom Virtual Agent
This is an AI and chatbot solution designed by the company to understand and quickly resolve issues for customers. The chatbot uses natural language processing and machine learning to process and solve user issues.
The company claims that the Zoom Virtual Agent works on multiple support channels to provide fast, personalised customer experiences. It also helps in reducing call volumes to human agents and increases operational efficiencies for businesses.
This tool will also be available in early 2023 and can be fully integrated with Zoom Contact Center. The Zoom Virtual Agent will also be offered as a standalone chatbot solution.

Continuous Collaboration across Zoom One
Zoom One is an all-in-one communication and collaboration platform that includes Team Chat, Phone, Whiteboard, Meetings, and other tools to connect workstreams. The integration between Team Chat and In-Meeting Chat creates an always-on functionality for users to move between the two services “to reduce silos, keep projects moving, and continue the conversation after meetings.
Zoom IQ Virtual Coach
This tool will be added to the Zoom IQ for Sales service. The Zoom IQ Virtual Coach will simulate multiple selling situations to assist sellers by offering an environment to practice their pitch, get feedback and receive real-time content tips during calls with prospects.
