Bengaluru: Angry staffer orders sex toys in boss’ name | Bengaluru News – Times of India

BENGALURU: A frustrated collection executive of a realty-cum coffee trading firm took revenge on his boss by sharing the latter’s contact numbers on online sites for escort services. Reason: His employer was reportedly delaying clearing Provident Fund claims citing Covid-19. The employee also ordered sex toys for his boss’ family members.
A complaint to this effect was lodged by Avinash Prabhu, director of Kalmane Trading Private Limited, with Central CEN crime police station on Tuesday. The accused has been identified as Hariprasad Joshi.
According to the FIR, Joshi had been demanding for quite sometime that Prabhu pay the PF amount. “Prabhu had told him that business had temporarily stopped following the pandemic. Moreover, the previous business head had not submitted the relevant documents. Prabhu had told the staffer that he’d look into the PF issue after the Covid outbreak ends,” said police. However, Joshi was desperate for money and continued to contact Prabhu, a resident of Hulkul Residency on Lavelle Road.
Police said the two had verbal arguments over phone in the last few weeks and Prabhu had gone to the extent of refusing to pay him and daring him to do whatever he wanted. “But he sent abusive mails to me, my wife and children. He posted mobile numbers of me and my wife on dating websites and placed orders for pornographic material in me and my wife’s name,” Prabhu alleged in his complaint.
However, it is not clear for how long Joshi had been working for Prabhu and when he had placed a request for the PF amount. When contacted, Prabhu refused to divulge more details about Joshi.
The CEN crime police have taken up a case and booked Joshi under various sections of IT Act and IPC sections 419 (punishment for cheating by personation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).
“We found the mobile number from which Prabhu had received calls. We will get more details once we nab the suspect,” a police officer said.
