Following the silver medal in the men’s 3000 m steeplechase event at the Commonwealth Games 2022, Avinash Sable said that even though he did not win a medal in the Tokyo Olympics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi always motivated the athletes to win. “Even though we did not win a medal in the Tokyo Olympics, PM Modi never let us feel it. He’s always motivated us to win,” he said. Indian athlete Avinash Sable clinched a silver medal for the country after finishing second in the final of the men’s 3000 m steeplechase event at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham on August 06.
