Devialet, the luxury audio manufacturer, has debuted into the soundbar space with the launch of its all-new soundbar. Dubbed Devialet Dione, the soundbar carries forward the company’s idea of offering top-notch sound quality in a relatively compact form factor.
The company is calling it an all-in-one soundbar as it comes with a built-in subwoofer and is backed by Dolby Atmos technology. The Dione is powered by company’s patented technologies that claim to offer an immersive surround sound experience.
However, the major highlight of the soundbar is its new ORB placid at the centre of the soundbar which according to the company is designed to adapt mechanically and acoustically according to the placement and positioning of the soundbar to deliver the best possible sound experience.
Devialet Dione: Price and availability
Devialet has launched the Dione at Rs 2,39,000 and is now available for pre-orders via both online and offline retail stores. The soundbar will be available for purchase by the end of July 2022.
Devialet Dione: Features
Devialet Dione comes with two new patented technologies along with other existing proprietary technologies. The soundbar features a 5.1.2-channel setup that claims to deliver an immersive surround sound experience. Apart from that, the soundbar comes with an ORB at the centre of the soundbar which automatically and manually adjusts the sound effect according to the placement of the soundbar.
Apart from that, the soundbar also comes with Advanced Dimensional Experience (ADE), company’s new digital signal processing technology that uses beamforming to deliver better 3D immersion.
The soundbar comes with a total of 17 Devialet-designed neodymium drivers, including eight long-throw subwoofers in a SAM-powered (Speaker Active Matching) push-push configuration that claims to deliver powerful, deep bass whatever the volume and eliminate the need for a separate subwoofer. I
The soundbar supports Dolby Atmos technology. In addition it also comes with the ability to enhance the audio of regular content using the Space technology and 3D upmixing sound algorithm.
The soundbar is also compatible with the Devialet app and it includes HDMI 2.1 eARC, CEC, Optical input, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, UPnP and Bluetooth 5.0.
