Candidates can pay the application fee for IGNOU admission can be paid online through the official website or through a Demand Draft (DD).
IGNOU conducts admission twice a year, in January and July. The application process for IGNOU admission starts a few months before the commencement of the academic session. The application forms for IGNOU admission can be filled out and submitted online through the official website of IGNOU.
First-time applicants are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the Online Admission System and select the desired programme and carefully read the details of the programme including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.
How to apply
Here are the steps you can follow to apply for IGNOU admission:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU: www.ignou.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the “Student Zone” option and select “Admission” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: On the Admission page, select the “Register Yourself” option if you are a new user or “Login” if you are a registered user.
Step 4: Fill in your personal details, including your name, email address, mobile number, and password. After filling in the details, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Log in to your account and fill in the application form with all the required information, including your personal details, educational qualifications, and course details.
Step 6: Upload the required documents, including your photograph and signature, in the prescribed format and size.
Step 7: Pay the application fee through the available payment options.
Step 8: Review and submit the application form.
Step 9: Save and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
