Ishaan Khatter opens up about waiting to work with his ‘Phone Bhoot’ co-star Katrina Kaif, hopes to start shooting by the end of 2020 – Times of India

Recently, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter announced their upcoming horror-comedy‘Phone Bhoot’ with a fun photoshoot where the actors were seen suited up for the film. While fans can’t wait for the film to release, now actor Ishaan Khatter in a recent interview opens up about his teaming up with co-star Katrina Kaif as he reminisces the “riot” photo shoot of the film.

According to an entertainment portal, Ishaan acknowledges Katrina as the “quintessential glamourous diva” and calls her senior in terms of work and experience. Added to this, he mentions looking up to Kat. He also reveals that he has been waiting for a long time to work with the actress and hopes to bring out different energies together while shooting for the upcoming.

Speaking about the film, the ‘Dhadhak’ actor also added that despite the tough times due to COVID-19, the project is expected to go on floors by the end of this year as he wishes for the situation to improve. He added that while all safety precautions will be taken care of during the production of the film, the team still can’t be “too caught” with the guidelines of sanitisation as it will affect their work.

For the unversed, ‘Photo Bhoot’ is an upcoming horror-comedy helmed by filmmaker Gurmeet Singh and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Expectedly, the movie will be released in 2021.
