As per a report by 9to5Google, OnePlus has hinted at three major aspects of the upcoming operating system update.
Firstly, the company is set to roll out a ‘major UI design’. Even though the company didn’t go into detail in terms of what that may include, it does say that the images hint that the company may have adopted a style that may appear like Samsung’s OneUI.
Secondly, the company has emphasised on an ‘improved dark mode,’ again however without any details. Lastly, the smartphone brand has also shown multiple designs for its always-on display.
Just last week, the company rolled out OxygenOS 10.3.5 update with July security patch to older phones like OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.
As part of this update, the company will also roll out support for the latest OnePlus Buds TWS. Other than this, there are no new features as such in this software update and it mostly focuses on fixes bugs and other issues.
The update fixes the crash issue when browsing on Chrome and the black screen issue when opening log-kit. T also offers improved system stability and fixed general bugs and updates GMS package to 2020.05
