The sequel to the 2019 surprise Telugu blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise threatens to get bigger. While the shooting is on and it is confirmed by reliable sources that a Bollywood A-lister will share screen space with Allu Arjun in the sequel, we now hear that a part of the shooting will be held abroad to give the product an international feel.
Exactly how the jungles of Seshachalam Hills in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh which were the location for the first part of the Pushpa franchise, would make way for the foreign getaway, is not clear.

But a source in the know informs, “They are shooting action scenes with a foreign crew featuring foreigners. These action scenes will be looped on to actual shooting abroad. In the process Pushpa 2 may lose its indigenous flavor. But Allu Arjun and his director Sukumar want to appeal to an international audience with the Pushpa sequel so that they would be one-up on the KGF franchise which has so far restricted its storytelling to the native region.”
