Xiaomi Mi TV Stick: Xiaomi launches Mi TV Stick at Rs 2,799 – Times of India

Xiaomi Mi TV Stick is priced at Rs 2,799 and will go on first sale on August 7 at 12pm.

Smartphone brand Xiaomi has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Mi TV Stick in India. It runs on Android TV 9 and can be connected to any TV to turn it into a smart TV. The company claims that the device can be set up in three simple steps in less than 30 seconds.
Xiaomi Mi TV Stick is priced at Rs 2,799 and will go on first sale on August 7 at 12pm. The device will be available on e-commerce site Flipkart along with the company’s own official website Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. It will compete with Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Xiaomi Mi TV Stick comes with Chromecast built-in allowing users to cast the phone’s screen on the TV. The device is also equipped with support for Google Assistant. It can stream up to 1080pixel resolution video and can be connected to the TV using the HDMI port.
The newly-launched device has support for both Dolby Audio and DTS Digital. Mi TV Stick is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 8GB eMMC storage capacity. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz/5GHz and Bluetooth version 4.2 for wireless connectivity. It comes with four ports that include a HDMI 2.0 port, USB 2.0 port, Power Interface and audio out port.
