Actor Akshay Kumar, along with his wife Twinkle Khanna and daughter Nitara, recently jetted off to the Maldives, to celebrate the new year. Now, on the very first morning of the new year, Khiladi Kumar dropped a video to show how he welcomed the new year with the Gayatri Mantra. Taking to his Instagram handle, Akki dropped a video wherein he could be seen looking towards the sun which is being risen up and crooning the spiritual Gayatri mantra. Sharing the video, he wrote, ‘New year, same me. Woke up and greeted my old friend, the sun, and started my 2022 with all things positive except for Covid. Praying for everyone’s good health and happiness. Happy New Year!’ The video is now going viral on social media as several fans of her rushed to the comment section and showered their love upon him. Meanwhile, earlier while giving a glimpse of his Maldives trip, Akshay dropped a video wherein he could be seen cycling outside his villa. In the video, Akshay, donning a printed shirt and a pair of shorts, can be seen sweating it out while cycling his way above the turquoise ocean waters, towards the camera on the wooden plank.
